We're looking for a reliable dishwasher to join our team at Wok to Walk. This is a back-of-house position focused on maintaining cleanliness and supporting our kitchen operations in a fast-paced food court environment.
Schedule
- Monday & Tuesday: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Friday & Saturday: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- Days off: Wednesday & Thursday
- Total: 22 hours per week
- Additional hours may be available during busier periods
Pay: $15-21/hour total ($15 base + $4-6 tips)
Primary Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, woks, flatware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils throughout shift
- Clean and close back of house each shift using our digital checklists
- Thoroughly clean all kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of dish area
- Take out trash and maintain waste disposal areas
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
Secondary Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Support front of house during peak periods (typically 20-30 minutes at a time)
- Operate cash register during sudden busy periods when requested
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must obtain Food Handler's card (or have current certification)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Team player willing to help where needed
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Comfortable using a tablet to complete digital checklists
