Chick-fil-A Careers and Jobs

Help Us Build Chick-fil-A Stillwater

Opening mid-October, Chick-fil-A Stillwater is hiring 80 incredible team members to be a part of our founding team, and help build something special from day one.

My name is Jake Knotek, and after serving as a Chick-fil-A Owner/Operator in Rockford, Illinois, my family is excited to be coming home to the Stillwater area for good. We're looking forward to serving this community, building meaningful relationships, and creating a restaurant our guests and team members are proud of.

Alongside an experienced leadership team, we're bringing proven systems and a passion for developing people. Together, we've been honored with Chick-fil-A's Rookie of the Year, Guardian of the Brand, and Symbol of Success awards, but what we're most proud of is the lasting impact we've had on our teams and the communities we've served. Now, we're excited to bring that same commitment to Stillwater.

At Chick-fil-A Stillwater, this is more than a job. It's an opportunity to build meaningful friendships, develop leadership skills, grow personally and professionally, and make a positive impact every day.

We're looking for dedicated leaders who enjoy serving others, thrive in a fast-paced environment, can coach and direct a team, and take pride in operational excellence. As a Shift Lead, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for the shift, supporting team members, and ensuring every guest receives remarkable hospitality.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Sundays off
  • Advanced leadership development and intentional coaching
  • Scholarship opportunities
  • A positive, high-performing team culture
  • The opportunity to help build a brand-new restaurant from the ground up

Shift Lead Responsibilities

  • Operational Execution: Open or close the restaurant safely and efficiently, ensuring food safety, quality, and speed-of-service standards are met across Front of House and/or Back of House.
  • Team Leadership & Coaching: Direct, encourage, and support team members during shifts, providing real-time feedback and intentional coaching.
  • Guest Experience: Lead by example in delivering remarkable hospitality, actively resolving guest concerns, and creating genuine connections.
  • Shift Management: Monitor positioning, manage breaks, and maintain high standards of restaurant cleanliness and organization.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for team members during the shift, bridging communication between upper leadership and the floor.
  • Uphold Standards: Champion the vision, mission, food safety regulations, and brand standards of Chick-fil-A Stillwater.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
  • A heart for serving people and developing others
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professional accountability
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask, pivot quickly, and stay calm in high-volume situations
  • Willingness to stay active and on your feet throughout your shift

If you're looking for an opportunity to step up as a leader, make a lasting impact, and help create a restaurant that serves the Stillwater community with excellence, we'd love to meet you.
