Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Regional Clinical Consultant to join our team in the Northern California area. This role is vital in ensuring the delivery of exceptional clinical services across our healthcare facilities, aligning with our commitment to compassionate patient care.
Job Purpose: Subject to and at the direction of each facility’s governing body, provides consulting services and guidance to Directors of Nursing, Administrators, and other facility employees as needed, on the Clinical performance of applicable facilities.
Essential Functions:
- Conducts audits and mock surveys to regularly evaluate facility clinical systems
- Subject to and at the direction of each facility’s governing body, assists in the development of clinical policies, procedures and trainings to ensure quality and consistency with regulatory and facility standards.
- Seeks out best practices in the industry to remain competitive and recommends relevant clinical changes timely.
- Subject to and at the direction of each facility’s governing body, analyzes costs, revenues, and other data driven performance measures to evaluate Clinical results, recommend goals, and monitor progress.
- Provides feedback and suggestions on any systems, procedures, policies or employees that require review to improve efficiencies and ensure compliance.
- Exercises delegated oversight to assist in the proper completion and timely return of Plans of Corrections or other related documents as may be necessary to send to government agencies.
- Collaborates and reports on Clinical measures to cross functional business partners within the organization (Operations, Human Resources, Marketing, Accounting, etc.) to ensure alignment in organizational goals and objectives.
- Subject to and at the direction of each facility’s governing body, may act as a facility liaison to the general public, regulatory agencies, families, patients, employees, vendors, and other internal or external customers.
- Participates in a wide variety of special projects including, but not limited to: acquisitions, surveys, quality care, quarterly and annual meetings, etc.
- Leads by example, demonstrating the Company Culture in communication with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Ensures compliance with, and abides by all local, state, and federal regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
- Provides direct patient care and/or assist with evacuating patients as needed.
Required Education and Experience
- Current Nursing License
- 3-5 years of successful, progressive work experience in a hospital or Skilled Nursing facility
- Demonstrated ability to lead, teach and empower others
- Outstanding Written and Oral Communication Skills
- Ability to travel 75% of the time
Preferred Education and Experience
- Registered Nurse
- 5+ years of successful work experience as a Director of Nursing
- Proven clinical Management / Leadership experience with multi-site oversight experience.
- Proven experience managing budgets and leading teams to execute/achieve results
Supervisory Responsibility Regional Clinical Resources do not have direct reports but provide feedback to each facility’s governing body on Directors of Nursing and other clinical leaders in facilities with regard to hiring through termination and everything in between (training, management, coaching, etc.) as needed and requested by facility Administrators, Regional Operations or the Clinical Director.
