Position Overview:


Chick-fil-A Fire Road is seeking an experienced, dynamic Catering Director to lead and grow our catering operations. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering services, including sales, event execution, client relationships, staff management, and financial performance.

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong operational expertise, exceptional client service skills, and a proven track record in hospitality or food service management.


Key Responsibilities:


Leadership & Operations

  • Direct and oversee all catering operations from inquiry to event execution ex. finding drivers, delivery prep etc.
  • Complete confirmation calls and follow up calls
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise catering team members
  • Ensure seamless coordination between kitchen, sales, and event teams
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service as it pertains to CFA guidelines
  • Complete any One Click lists pertinent to your focus area of the business
  • Create Slack Channels for the promotion of CARE events or celebrations and outings
  • Attend regular Director meetings and communicate marketing plans/activities as well as goal updates
  • Work with Hospitality Lead to ensure plan is executed that maintains high level of guest satisfaction in effort to reach CEM goals

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow catering revenue
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships 
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and customized event packages
  • Identify new market opportunities and partnerships
  • Use digital media such as Facebook/Instagram to find new leads 
  • Promote usage of our Digital App/EZ-Cater and 3rd party delivery partners
  • Implement school programs ( third-party sales, school lunches)
  • Utilize Spotlight to engage the guest through offers and event invites

Financial Management

  • Manage events for profitability
  • Monitor food and labor costs to maintain margin goals
  • Approve invoices and oversee billing processes/pricing/giveaways for our clients

Client & Event Management

  • Conduct client consultations and site visits
  • Oversee event logistics and execution
  • Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience at every event

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in catering, hospitality, or food service leadership
  • Proven experience managing large-scale events
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with catering management software/apps
  • Strong vendor and venue relationship network
  • Creative menu planning to suit event needs
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
