Wingstop, the Wing Experts, is looking for a General Manager for our Frederick, MD location. The General Manager is responsible for managing the overall operation and profitability of the restaurant which includes, but is not limited to, managing food and labor costs, maintaining high food quality while delivering an overall exceptional dining experience to our guests. The General Manager will work alongside the other members of the Management Team to create a dining experience that delivers exceptional hospitality and food quality in accordance with the franchise policies and procedures. You will report directly to the owners.


The duties of the General Manager include but are not limited to:


Operate a clean, well-managed restaurant

Provide outstanding guest service

Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and security standards and procedures

Maintain recipe adherence and food presentation expectations

Staff store, supervise, train and develop Team Members

Must have prior restaurant management experience. We will consider people with Assistant Manager and Shift Lead experience in the restaurant industry. Positive attitude and customer service focus is key. We can teach you the business, but can't teach you attitude and personality.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


• Responsible for recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling

team members, in partnership with the District Manager.

• Works with both the District Manager and Human Resources to manage

performance, including coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members.

Communicates job expectations to the staff; plans, monitors, and reviews

performance of employees; plans and reviews compensation actions; enforces

policies and procedures.

• Communicates in a timely and effective manner with District Manager about

operational and human resources issues.

• Performs regular restaurant inspections to ensure team and restaurant is

meeting standards.

• Tracks inventory and ensures accurate record keeping.

• Identifies and resolve issues with food preparation. Helps team handle customer

service issues with grace, courtesy and with the goal of cultivating happy,

returning customers.

• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing,

following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; proper safety

procedures, to include, but not limited to injury reporting, conducting meetings,

equipment maintenance, etc., complying with health and legal regulations;

maintaining security systems.

• Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new

and different job responsibilities; explores opportunities to add value to job

accomplishments.

• Minimum of 2 years of previous food service, retail or restaurant supervisory

experience
