Position Title: Prep Cook
Location: Chick-fil-A Tampa Stadium
Reports To: Directors / Shift Leader
Job Summary
The Prep Cook at Chick-fil-A is responsible for preparing fresh ingredients, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting kitchen operations to ensure high-quality meals are consistently delivered. This role is essential to maintaining the brand’s commitment to excellence in food quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and portion food ingredients according to Chick-fil-A recipes and standards
- Wash, cut, and store produce and other ingredients properly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work environment
- Follow all food safety and health regulations
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Work collaboratively with kitchen team members to ensure efficient operations
- Ensure proper labeling and rotation of food items (FIFO method)
- Support kitchen staff during peak hours as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
