Floor Associate

Downtown Ace Hardware is seeking an exceptionally reliable, high-ownership team member to serve as a strong, knowledgeable presence across the entire store. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys learning across departments, and takes pride in being someone the team can depend on. We are looking for stability, initiative, and consistency.

What You Will Do

• Provide outstanding, solution-focused customer service
• Learn product knowledge across multiple departments
• Assist customers with projects and recommendations
• Maintain clean, organized sales areas
• Support seasonal transitions

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable climbing ladders
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors as needed

Schedule & Availability

• 30–40 hours per week
• Weekend availability required
• Store Hours:

Monday–Saturday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Sunday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Flexible availability preferred
• Flexible start dates

Compensation & Benefits

• $16-$19 per hour depending on experience
