Team Leader Responsibilities
- Lead Back of House operations during assigned shifts to ensure smooth, efficient kitchen execution
- Set the tone in the kitchen by modeling professionalism, urgency, teamwork, and Chick-fil-A standards
- Support food safety, food quality, and cleanliness expectations at all times
- Coach and support Team Members in real time, providing direction, feedback, and encouragement
- Hold Team Members accountable to procedures, recipes, and operational standards
- Assist in training and developing Team Members across all kitchen stations
- Ensure proper staffing, station readiness, and task execution throughout the shift
- Communicate effectively with Restaurant Leadership regarding performance, staffing needs, food safety concerns, inventory, and equipment issues
- Complete and oversee opening, transition, and closing responsibilities
- Create a positive, respectful, and productive work environment
- Serve as a role model for reliability, consistency, and leadership
Back of House Operational Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly, and accurately according to Chick-fil-A standards
- Maintain working knowledge of all Back of House stations, including breading, boards, fries, prep, and assembling
- Ensure food safety procedures are followed consistently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen
- Monitor food quality, speed, and accuracy during peak periods
- Report maintenance, safety, or equipment concerns promptly
- Stay current with new products, procedures, and operational updates
- Complete required training and certifications as assigned
