Their job is two-fold: to serve the Customer in the most hospitable way possible by managing and leveraging every resource at their disposal to create amazing Customer experiences; and to serve their Team by leading and organizing the shift with absolutely clear expectations and accountability every day in order to make sure we all are aligned to achieving our vision of being the most caring place in our community.
Prerequisite
- Ability and desire to consistently meet speed, hospitality, cleanliness, and Food Safety standards.
- Enjoy working in the fast-food industry.
- Express a desire for leadership.
- Must be available to lead at least 3 shifts per week, including a Saturday shift.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have prior management experience
Additional Tasks and Responsibilities
- Lead shifts by executing our shift leadership system and ensuring Team Members are following standards outlined in the Training Guides.
- Ensure our established Training systems are executed properly; ensure Trainers are training to our correct standards; be willing to serve as a Trainer when needed.
- Coach Assistant Managers to lead shifts that follow our shift leadership system.
- Ensure all Shift Checklists and Team Member Position Cards are complete every shift.
- Ensure the complete safety of our food, Restaurant, information, and our Team.
- Complete the SAFE Daily Critical assessment twice per day (between 6 am-2 pm and 2 pm-10 pm) and complete the Thunder Food Safety Checklist at 10 am, 2 pm, and 6 pm.
- Participate in the Checkpoint system.
- Accurately count the safe, drawers, and fanny packs.
- Accurately perform open and closing administration duties.
- Serve Customers and the Business by answering the phone.
- Take catering orders over the phone or in person.
- Engage and participate in every All Team and Manager Meeting, Manager celebration events, and required development opportunities
- Ensure all Direct Reports are in proper attire.
