Dragon Alley, the high-energy Asian street food and karaoke destination in Huntsville’s MidCity District, is looking for a dedicated Dishwasher to join our "heart of the house" team. In our 1990s Hong Kong-inspired kitchen, you are the unsung hero who keeps the handmade dumplings and craft cocktails flowing by ensuring every plate and glass is pristine.
Role Overview
As a Dishwasher, you are essential to the kitchen's rhythm. You will manage the cleaning and sanitization of all service ware and kitchen tools while maintaining a safe, organized workspace during our busiest shifts.
What You’ll Do
- Sanitization: Operate industrial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and heavy cookware.
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized dish area, including sweeping, mopping floors, and emptying trash regularly.
- Kitchen Support: Assist the culinary team with light prep work and ensure all stations are stocked with clean items throughout service.
- Safety Standards: Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper chemical usage and handling hot equipment safely.
What We’re Looking For
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8-10 hours) and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Team Spirit: A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- Experience: No previous experience is required; we provide paid training for those eager to learn.
