In 1998, my brother Clay and I opened the first JCW’s in an old Hardee’s building in American Fork. We had cut our teeth in the restaurant business but opening our own place was still a big step. Fortunately we drew great strength from the love and support of our families. At that time, a good friend and mentor, Jim Tripplet, told us that while JCW’s was a good name it didn’t really describe what we did. Jim tagged us “The Burger Boys” and it has stuck ever since.

The same philosophies we had when we started are still alive and well. We understand that it is an honor to take care of our customers and believe our customers are our friends. We like to think of ourselves as the “Cheers” of burgers, and when you come in and enjoy a great dining experience with top quality food and friendly service, you’ll know what we mean.
