We’re looking for a Sushi Team Member—a human being with hands, a sense of humor, and at least a mild appreciation for not ruining perfectly good fish.
- You don’t have to be a sushi master (yet). But you do need:
- A willingness to learn
- The ability to move quickly without losing your mind
- And the understanding that “just one more roll” is never just one more roll

- Roll sushi like your reputation depends on it (because it kind of does)
- Keep things clean, sharp, and not on fire

Key Responsibilities
- Expertly cut, slice, and fillet various types of fish for sushi dishes
- Inspect the quality of fruits, vegetables, and fish, ensuring top standards
- Prepare sushi according to strict guidelines on portion size, presentation, and safety
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment to prevent contamination
- Take regular inventory of food supplies and report equipment issues promptly
- Sterilize all utensils and equipment before use
- Communicate effectively with wait staff to accommodate special requests and allergies
Qualifications & Skills
- Relevant culinary qualification or experience in a hotel, resort, or quality restaurant
- Basic English communication skills preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, sanitation, and food storage
- Safe and proficient use of sharp knives
- Serv Safe certification can be obtained after hiring
Physical & Working Conditions
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs and standing for up to 8 hours
- Frequent walking, bending, stooping, and lifting required
- Work indoors in a fast-paced, noisy, and warm environment
