Back of House Closing Support Team Member
Part-Time | Evenings | Approximately 7:00 PM – 11:00/11:30 PM Monday-Saturday
About the Role
Do you enjoy working behind the scenes and taking pride in leaving things better than you found them? We’re looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who enjoy staying active, working as part of a team, and helping prepare our restaurant for a successful close.
As a Back of House Closing Support Team Member, your primary responsibility is supporting our evening closing operations. You’ll help ensure our kitchen is clean, organized, and ready for the next day by washing dishes, cleaning equipment, maintaining work areas, and completing nightly cleaning tasks & checklists.
While your primary focus is supporting the closing process, you’ll be fully trained in Back of House operations and may be called upon to support food preparation or order fulfillment as business needs require. At Chick-fil-A, every Team Member works together to deliver an exceptional Guest experience.
Responsibilities
● Support the Back of House team throughout the evening.
● Wash dishes and maintain an organized dish area.
● Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, machines, and workstations.
● Sweep, mop, and maintain clean and safe kitchen floors.
● Complete nightly cleaning and closing tasks according to restaurant standards.
● Restock supplies and prepare the kitchen for the next business day.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
● Follow all food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.
● May be called upon to support food preparation or order fulfillment during busy periods.
● Work with urgency while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
● Communicate effectively with leaders and fellow Team Members.
● Help ensure the restaurant is set up for a successful opening the following day.
What We’re Looking For
● 18 years of age or older.
● Dependable and punctual.
● Hardworking with a strong work ethic.
● Takes pride in cleanliness and attention to detail.
● Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
● Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
● A team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed.
● Comfortable standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift.
● Available to work a consistent evening schedule, approximately 7:00 PM – 11:00/11:30 PM.
