Chick-fil-A at Topanga & Roscoe is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Food and Salad Prep Team Members in the Back of House.

Main Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for preparing our cold menu items, such as salads, wraps, fruit cups, parfaits, and catering trays.

• Ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and prep area, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness at all times.
• Stay updated on new products introduced by Chick-fil-A and incorporate them into your food preparation.
• Wash and put away kitchen dishes to maintain a well-organized workspace.
• Complete assigned tasks to ensure consistency in product quality and guest experience, aligning with our brand, culture, and commitment to excellence.
• Communicate effectively with fellow team members and leaders, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Stand for periods of up to 3.5 hours during your shift, demonstrating stamina and dedication to your responsibilities.
• Possess basic math and measurement skills to accurately portion ingredients.
• Maintain a sanitary and safe restaurant environment by performing tasks such as mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, and caring for equipment.
• Assist with unloading delivery trucks and properly storing supplies.
• Exhibit a well-groomed and professional appearance at all times, aligning with our standards of presentation.
• Comply with portion sizes, quality standards, and health inspection standards, ensuring adherence to EcoLab guidelines.
• Assemble, clean, maintain, and operate kitchen equipment, including pressure fryer, open fryer, grill, and temperature gauges.
• Obtain a Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire to meet food safety requirements.

Necessary Skills and Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Available to work on Fridays and Saturdays.
• Possess a positive attitude, demonstrating a hunger for personal and professional growth.
• Show a genuine love for people and a strong desire to serve others.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a team-oriented environment is preferred.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency, ensuring prompt service to our guests.
• Basic mathematical and portioning skills to accurately prepare menu items.
