Job Summary:
Ford's on the Road is seeking a skilled driver and line cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality seafood dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional kitchen, a passion for food, and a strong commitment to quality. Clean driving record is a requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Drive food truck to varies locations
- Ensure food truck safety and cleanliness standards are upheld
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in a fast paced environment
• Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure all dishes are prepared according to our recipes and standards of quality
• Keep the kitchen area clean and organized at all times
• Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
• Communicate with cashiers to ensure a positive customer experience
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience working in a professional kitchen
• Strong knowledge of seafood preparation and cooking techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred:
• Experience working in an upscale casual restaurant environment
• Knowledge of seafood sustainability practices
