Job Type: Full-Time

Available Shifts:

  • Morning/Day: 5:30 AM–2:00 PM
  • Afternoon/Evening: 2:00 PM–Close (approximately 10:30 PM)

Earn $16–$18/hour as a Full-Time Chick-fil-A Breader

We’re looking for dependable, hardworking people to join our kitchen team as Full-Time Breaders.

The Breader is one of the most important positions in our kitchen. You’ll be responsible for preparing and breading the chicken we serve our guests each day while maintaining Chick-fil-A’s standards for food quality, food safety, speed, and cleanliness.

This is a fast-paced, physical kitchen position that’s a great fit for someone who likes staying busy, takes pride in doing a job well, and enjoys being part of a strong team.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare fresh chicken to be cooked and served each day
  • Bread and prepare chicken for immediate cooking according to Chick-fil-A standards
  • Follow all chicken preparation procedures carefully and consistently
  • Follow food-safety standards for time and temperature
  • Properly rotate products using First In, First Out (FIFO)
  • Follow food-safety procedures closely, especially procedures designed to prevent cross-contamination
  • Maintain a clean and organized breading and preparation area
  • Clean equipment, machines, walls, floors, and surrounding work areas
  • Take out trash and complete other cleaning duties as needed
  • Wash dishes and equipment from the work area as needed
  • Communicate quickly and effectively with other members of the kitchen team
  • Work with urgency during busy meal periods while maintaining food quality and safety standards

  • Able to follow specific food preparation and food-safety procedures
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Able to communicate and work effectively with a team
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 40 pounds throughout the workday

Food Handler Certification is preferred, but not required.

Starting Pay

Starting pay is based primarily on experience and availability.

Candidates with previous kitchen or food-service experience and strong availability for one of our full-time shifts may start at or near $18/hour.
