The Field Operations Manager who will oversee daily field activity, support cleaning teams, and serve as a key backup to our Operations/Office Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centered environment and enjoys solving problems both in the field and behind the scenes.
TimeWise Cleaning has proudly served the Rochester area for over 30 years, delivering high-quality residential and commercial cleaning services with professionalism, integrity, and a little fun along the way. Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Field Oversight
- Ensure daily schedules are fully staffed and running smoothly even if it means cleaning a home yourself
- Conduct on-site visits, support teams with quality checks
- Manage and maintain inventories/supplies at all locations
- Help ensure all locations meet brand standards
- Review and address customer feedback—positive and negative—with cleaning teams and clients
- Run weekly one-on-ones or team check-ins to support employee engagement
- Help us cultivate a supportive, growth-focused team environment—where positivity is valued and drama has no place.
Hiring, Training & Development
- Interview and help onboard new cleaning team members
- Help to refine and implement training programs
- Lead in-person orientation and hands-on field training
- Conduct performance reviews and maintain employee documentation
- Promote internal referral bonuses and hiring campaigns
- Maintain/Optimize Applicant Tracking System and integration with training program
Office/Operations Support
- Track key client and team metrics
- Assist in managing uniforms, supplies, and equipment
- Administer discipline fairly and professionally when needed
- Help maintain up-to-date contact lists and employee records
- Assist/ step in for the Operations Manager as needed during absences or peak times

Requirements:
- 2+ years in a supervisory or management role, preferably in service, hospitality, or operations (prior cleaning experience is not required)
- Valid driver's license for at least 2 years, clean driving record, and reliable transportation (registered and insured)
- 21 years or older
- Ability to pass background checks
- Availability Monday–Friday, 7:30-4:00, with occasional flexibility for early starts or afternoon support
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs, be on your feet, and occasionally work alongside the field teams
- Located within 30 min drive from Victor, NY
