What does career growth look like at Chick-fil-A? While occasionally we hire leadership from outside sources, most of our leaders are team members who have worked their way up.
There are a couple of ways an employee can start the move to leadership. One is than an employee will express interest in moving to the next position, and the other is leadership spotting an employee who shows potential and encouraging them to take the chance. That employee is then assigned to an upper leve leader who mentors that employee through the extensive training course. Mentoring does not stop once they reach that new role.
