Social Media Lead

We are looking for a Social Media Leader to join our team in the Social Media Department. As a Social Media Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok. Your responsibilities will include creating original text, photo, and video content; managing posts and responding to followers; and training staff to assist with social media while you are in present in store. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals and increase our followers.

As a Social Media Lead, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and

social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our

company’s image creatively. You need to be a fast learner

Key Responsibilities:

• Works directly with the Store Manager on specific needs for store posts, and managing social media holds and comments.
• Follow calendar and guidelines set forth by Store Manager and marketing director for post content (as applicable: now hiring, buy message, plus size, guys stuff, etc)
• Take quality photos in a timely manner and schedule in Business Suite or Hootesuite
• Responsible for meeting all posting goals set forth by marketing director including: daily posts, stories, reels, lives and sneak peeks.
• Responsible for managing social media holds every hour. This includes: replying to hold requests, updating second hold and third hold if item gets passed to them, updating post if hot item has sold, managing holds in store, and training staff to maintain this process while you are not in the store.
• Responsible for making sure all comments and messages are replied to every hour. All shift leaders should be able to reply to holds, messages and comments so this does not get missed while you are not in the store.
• Manage the Instagram hold bin. Make sure items are going to back to sales floor that have not been placed on hold / not picked up.
• Manage relationship with social media influencers. Share their stories and posts. Engage with them via DM and when they come in to shop.
• Participate in monthly Social Media Manager calls with director of marketing
• One-on-one calls with the store manager about past posts, upcoming ideas, and new social media initiatives. Communicate with the store manager as needed on complaints, difficult comments, etc.
• Engage and train staff on social media. Have them assist in boomerangs, finding outfits, fun staff stories, etc.
• Engage with and manage your followers – like their photos, find new people to follow, grow our followers, etc.
• Maintain duties in the store as directed by the Store Manager.

• Ability to handle a very fast paced atmosphere
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day, lift up to 40 lbs., climb a ladder
• Strong communication and follow-through skills
