Director of Hospitality / Front of House

Important Experience Requirement

This position is intended for experienced Chick-fil-A leaders. To be considered, applicants must currently be serving as a Director, or have previously served as a Director, at another Chick-fil-A restaurant.

Because this is a senior leadership position, previous Chick-fil-A Director-level experience is required, not preferred.

Position Overview

The Director of Hospitality / Front of House is responsible for leading and developing Front of House operations while creating an environment where Team Members consistently deliver exceptional hospitality, operational excellence, and memorable guest experiences.

This leader will work closely with the Operator and other Directors to develop people, execute systems, achieve restaurant goals, and protect the standards and culture of Chick-fil-A Kissimmee.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

• Lead Front of House operations with excellence and consistency
• Ensure guests receive accurate orders with surprisingly fast speed of service
• Maintain Chick-fil-A standards for hospitality, cleanliness, food safety, and operational execution
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, efficiency, guest experience, and team performance
• Maintain strong organization and attention to the overall appearance of the restaurant
• Ensure operational systems are consistently followed and improved when necessary

Hospitality & Guest Experience

• Model and coach Chick-fil-A hospitality standards
• Create a culture where every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and appreciated
• Coach leaders and Team Members in delivering genuine hospitality
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism, ownership, and care
• Continuously identify ways to elevate the guest experience

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, evaluate, and provide accountability for Team Leaders and Team Members
• Develop leaders through intentional coaching, feedback, and mentorship
• Set clear expectations and consistently follow up on performance
• Build strong relationships with Team Members while maintaining high standards
• Recognize and develop emerging leadership talent
• Create an environment of accountability, encouragement, and continuous improvement

Director Team Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with the Operator and other Directors
• Maintain unity, communication, and clarity across the leadership team
• Support restaurant-wide goals and strategic priorities
• Hold yourself and fellow leaders accountable for assigned responsibilities
• Participate actively in leadership meetings, planning, and execution

Director Expectations

A Director is expected to:

• Work a minimum of 40 hours per week in the restaurant
• Dedicate intentional time each week to planning, preparation, and leadership responsibilities
• Clearly communicate goals, expectations, and success measures to the team
• Combine critical thinking with practical leadership to improve the business
• Coach effectively and provide clear direction
• Intentionally develop and nurture relationships with Team Members
• Align hiring, training, development, and evaluation practices with the restaurant's Vision and Core Values
• Lead with energy, humility, consistency, and professionalism
• Demonstrate ownership and take responsibility for results
• Enthusiastically and passionately lead the team

Required Qualifications

• Must currently serve, or have previously served, as a Director at another Chick-fil-A restaurant
• Strong understanding of Chick-fil-A operations, culture, systems, and leadership expectations
• Proven experience leading and developing teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to coach, provide accountability, and handle difficult conversations professionally
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership
• Growth mindset and willingness to continuously improve
• Team-oriented and collaborative
• Honest, dependable, and trustworthy
• Friendly and hospitality-focused
• Strong work ethic
• Minimum age of 18

Please note: Applicants without previous Chick-fil-A Director-level experience will not be considered for this particular position.
