Position Overview:
The Human Resources Assistant will play a crucial role in our HR team, primarily focusing on the efficient onboarding of new hires into our HRIS (Paylocity) and maintaining accurate employee records within the system. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong commitment to confidentiality. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to special projects and support the full life cycle of our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct the onboarding process for new hires, including but not limited to: entering new employee data into Paylocity, processing new hire paperwork, coordinating orientation schedules, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS, including personal information, employment history, performance evaluations, and other relevant documentation.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, such as preparing documents and communications and responding to inquiries from employees.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Vice President of Human Resources, which may include conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing reports.
- Support the full life cycle of employees, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding, by assisting with various HR processes and procedures.
