Role Overview:
We are seeking reliable and adaptable Substitute Teachers to join our team. This on-call role offers flexible hours, making it ideal for individuals looking for a work schedule that fits their lifestyle. Substitute Teachers will step in as needed to maintain a positive and effective learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher. You’ll play a vital role in supporting children aged 0-6 years in various classrooms across our center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Step in as a substitute for absent teachers, providing continuity of care and education to children aged 0-6 years.
- Follow lesson plans and implement classroom activities as directed.
- Create a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment for children.
- Ensure classroom rules and routines are followed.
- Maintain open communication with staff and parents, as needed.
- Assist with classroom management and provide emotional support to children.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks as required by the classroom teacher.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in an early childhood education setting.
- Ability to work with children ages 0-6 years.
- Strong classroom management skills and a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and be flexible with shifts.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required.
