Community Outreach Coordinator

Out in the community, you represent Meaningful Beginnings by building relationships with families and local partners. Through events, partnerships, and outreach, you help families feel welcomed before they ever step on campus. Your work strengthens trust and connection, aligning families with our values from the start.


Role Overview:

The Community Outreach Coordinator serves as a brand ambassador, community liaison, and public-facing representative of Meaningful Beginnings. This role plays a key part in increasing the school’s visibility, promoting programs, driving prospective family engagement, and supporting enrollment goals.


The ideal candidate is personable, proactive, and passionate about building genuine relationships within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Meaningful Beginnings at community events, fairs, school expos, and networking opportunities in a professional, welcoming manner.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses, parent organizations, community centers, and referral networks to strengthen visibility and word-of-mouth referrals.
  • Assist with planning and executing open houses, tours, family engagement events, and on-site outreach opportunities.
  • Encourage and support families in sharing online reviews to enhance the school’s reputation and credibility.
  • Distribute marketing materials across the community and ensure branding is consistently represented.
  • Track outreach efforts, contacts made, event attendance, and progress toward enrollment objectives.
  • Support the enrollment team with follow-up communication, prospective family inquiries, and appointment coordination.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of prospective families and proactively generate new leads by identifying outreach opportunities and engaging potential families.
  • Uphold and model Meaningful Beginnings’ values and ensure all interactions reflect our mission and commitment to families.

Qualifications


Required:

  • Strong passion for early childhood education, family engagement, and community connection.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfort with public speaking, meeting new people, and representing the organization in public settings.
  • Ability to work independently, manage outreach activities, and prioritize tasks.
  • A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to travel locally to events and community visits.

Preferred:

  • Experience in community engagement, outreach, customer service, marketing, or sales.
  • Bilingual abilities (any language) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with early education environments or family-centered programs.

This role may require:

  • Standing or walking for extended periods at events.
  • Lifting or transporting materials up to 20–25 lbs (e.g., brochures, event supplies).
  • Traveling between community locations and school sites.
  • Setting up and breaking down outreach tables or displays.
