Overview:
We are looking for a highly creative and hands-on Content Manager & Videographer to support all aspects of content creation for both my personal brand and multiple company brands. This person will capture high-quality video and photo content, help plan and execute content strategies, and work closely with our editing team to ensure all content is polished, on-brand, and optimized for performance.
This is a dynamic role for someone who loves being behind the camera, understands social media deeply, and enjoys helping bring a brand’s storytelling to life from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Content Creation:
- Film and photograph daily activities, meetings, behind-the-scenes moments, events, and business operations.
- Use a personal high-quality smartphone or camera to capture compelling footage.
- Ensure strong lighting, angles, composition, and storytelling in all content.
- Support the creation of planned content such as scripted videos, interviews, educational pieces, and promotional content.
- Capture spontaneous content and identify meaningful moments throughout the day.
- Travel and commute to various locations throughout the Bay Area; occasional out-of-area travel as needed.
Content Strategy & Direction:
- Work alongside the founder to brainstorm and plan content ideas across all brands.
- Help guide and direct the editing team with clear instructions on how content should be cut, styled, and delivered.
- Create and maintain content calendars across multiple platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Ensure all content aligns with brand identity, messaging, and goals.
- Monitor social media trends and recommend new ideas and formats that align with each brand.
Brand Support:
- Assist in all content-related needs for the personal brand and company brands, including childcare centers, consulting, real estate, and future ventures.
- Support marketing campaigns, brand storytelling, and visibility initiatives.
- Collaborate on new concepts, launch ideas, and creative projects to elevate overall brand presence.
Availability & Work Style:
- Flexible schedule with the ability to film during weekdays, some evenings, and occasional weekends.
- Comfortable navigating fast-paced, changing environments.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities across different brands.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong experience in videography, content creation, or social media production.
- Owns a high-quality smartphone or camera for filming.
- Creative eye for storytelling, trends, and aesthetic composition.
- Strong communication skills—able to give and receive direction effectively.
- Reliable, organized, and self-motivated.
- Must be able to drive and commute consistently throughout the Bay Area.
Bonus Skills (Not Required):
- Video editing experience.
- Knowledge of analytics and content performance metrics.
- Experience managing content for multiple brands or entrepreneurs.
