Role Overview:
As Site Manager, you'll oversee daily campus operations, ensuring the grounds, facilities, and classrooms are safe and well-maintained. You'll manage staffing, scheduling, and ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory standards. This leadership role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to foster a positive work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilities Management: Ensure campus spaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Handle maintenance requests and manage event space use.
- Emergency Preparedness: Implement safety plans (fire drills, lockdowns) and act as a point of contact during emergencies.
- Staffing & Scheduling: Coordinate staff schedules, maintain ratios, and ensure breaks/coverage. Curriculum & Classroom Oversight: Ensure classrooms follow schedules and comply with regulations.
- Communication & Conflict Resolution: Maintain communication with families and staff. Resolve conflicts in a constructive manner.
- Work Culture & Leadership: Foster a positive, respectful, and professional work environment.
Qualifications (must meet one of the following):
- High School Diploma + 15 units in Early Childhood Education/Child Development and 4 years teaching experience
- Associate Degree in ECE/CD + 2 years teaching experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in ECE/CD + 1 year teaching experience
- Child Development Site Supervisor or Program Director Permit
Additional Requirements:
- Must meet Community Care Licensing regulations (Title 22)
- 16 hours of health and safety training (if required)
