Borealis Breads is now employee owned! We’ve been in business for over 29 years and are one of the first artisan bread producers in Maine. The first bakery in New England, to pioneer the use of locally grown grains and locally milled flours in their breads. We have more than 40 employees; more than 400 wholesale accounts and our bakeries churn out between 1,600 to 3,500 loaves a day!
