As a General Manager in Training, you’ll be at the heart of our operation—leading your team, driving results, and making a real impact every day. We’re looking for candidates with previous experience as an Assistant or General Manager in food service (Jimmy John’s experience is a big plus!). Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and feedback during shifts
- Schedule employee shifts and assign duties
- Train and coach new employees
- Assist in recruiting and hiring
- Manage inventory and vendor orders
- Review P&L statements
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Address customer and employee concerns
Skills:
- Ability to work 50+ hours per week
- Prior experience in food service management
- Proficient in operating commercial slicers
- Capable of lifting 30-40 lbs. regularly
- Basic computer skills
- Completion of Jimmy John Manager Certification Training
- ServSafe Certified
