United Concessions Group (UCG) is now hiring Team Members to join their Team at Cafe Express located inside of the Akron Canton Airport
Location Description:
Café Express is a quick-service coffee and bakery destination offering specialty espresso drinks, handcrafted beverages, and a selection of fresh pastries. Guests can enjoy a fast, friendly experience in a welcoming café environment.
Position Summary:
Café Express Team Members provide excellent customer service while preparing quality coffee and bakery items in a fast-paced setting. This role includes operating espresso equipment, handling cash transactions, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guests have an exceptional café experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee and espresso beverages
- Operate espresso machines, ovens, and other café equipment
- Greet and assist guests, take accurate orders, and handle payments
- Perform minor food preparation, including baking and pastry setup
- Stock inventory and maintain product displays
- Keep the front counter, dining area, and beverage stations clean and organized
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
Job Requirements
- Stands for long periods
- Routinely lifts, carries, and moves materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Bends, reaches, and moves quickly in tight spaces
- Is legally able to work in the U.S.
- Is able to pass a federal background check
- Executes tasks independently
- Learns and memorizes tasks effectively
- Maintains concentration and focus on tasks
- Performs tasks in small or restrictive spaces
- Works in or around large crowds
