As a Leader in Training, you will build leadership skills while consistently demonstrating our core values, embracing the Chick-fil-A culture, and having a servant’s heart.  In this role, you will be responsible for inspiring and guiding our Team Members to do the same. 


You must have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative, and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. Leaders are expected to run the shift effectively and must be able to coach and develop team members. Most importantly, Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Team Leader Responsibilities:

  • Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
  • Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
  • Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
  • Be a friendly, encouraging team player
  • Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
  • Count drawers and finalize the day
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
