ABOUT HAAZ'S
Haaz's is a high-volume fast-casual restaurant in Bethlehem, PA. We welcome trainees who are ready to learn and experienced cooks who take pride in their work.
THE ROLE
We have three Cook openings across our grill, fryer, build, and support stations. Your starting assignment and pay depend on your experience and demonstrated station skills, with cross-training over time.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Learn and follow our recipes, portions, and station procedures.
• Work toward consistent ticket times without compromising quality.
• Follow food safety, temperature control, and rotation procedures.
• Communicate clearly with your team.
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized.
• Cross-train as your skills develop.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Kitchen experience is welcome; training is available for applicants ready to learn.
• Attention to detail and commitment to consistent food quality.
• Willingness to follow instructions, practice, and respond to coaching.
• Commitment to food safety. ServSafe is a plus; willingness to certify is required.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and clear communication.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
Base pay: $15–18 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated station skills.
• $15/hour — Trainee: needs station training and supervision.
• $16–17/hour — Developing cook: relevant experience and useful station skills, with some coaching needed.
• $18/hour — Capable cook: demonstrates the ability to run the assigned station with normal supervision.
Experienced cooks can qualify for up to $18/hour at hire. Starting pay is agreed before work begins. Later pay changes depend on demonstrated skills and an approved review.
Full-time and part-time schedules are available. Opening shifts are 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Closing shifts start at 3, 4, or 5 p.m. and end at 10 p.m., midnight, or 2 a.m., depending on the day. Days, evenings, and weekend availability are needed. Open availability is preferred; tell us which shifts you can reliably work.

Cooks who master multiple stations and lead by example are the first considered for Lead Cook and Kitchen Supervisor roles as Haaz's grows.
