Our restaurant is looking for To Go personnel with remarkable & engaging people skills.
The right person for this job should be able to multitask food & beverage orders. Our restaurant prides itself in providing excellent service, which is why we are looking for employees who will treat our guests with attentiveness, patience, & a positive attitude. The responsibilities of to go employees in our restaurant are to help guests with menu recommendations, take orders and deliver orders to curbside guests and third-party delivery drivers. All our to go employees are also responsible for handling cash & credit card transactions.
To help our restaurant provide a pleasurable dining experience, a good to go employee should be able to ensure that our guests are fully satisfied by being friendly, courteous, accommodating, & reliable. A suitable candidate for the job should also be a problem-solver & a team player.
Responsibilities of a To Go employee:
- Providing menu recommendations & additional information.
- Upselling additional products when appropriate.
- Checking ID's to prevent minors from ordering alcoholic beverages.
- Taking orders using software, order slips, or by memorization.
- Communicating order details to the kitchen staff.
- Delivering food & beverages in a timely fashion.
- Delivering checks & collecting bill payments.
- Cleaning & maintaining the appearance of tables and tableware.
- Providing exceptional customer experience.
- Making sure that all orders are packed correctly.
Server Job Requirements:
- Must showcase teamwork & communication skills.
- Must be able to handle money transactions responsibly.
- Must be able to multitask & act quickly.
- Must be flexible & ready to work in shifts.
- Must at least be enrolled in high school.
- Must have Texas Food Handler's Certificate from http://www.certifiedonthefly.com.
- Must have TABC Certificate from http://www.tabconthefly.com.
- Background check will be performed on all applicants.
