Maintenance Assistant

The Echelon is currently seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Assistant in Medina, Ohio. The Echelon of Medina is a private, family-owned facility located in the heart of Medina. Comfort, care, and community are hallmarks of The Echelon experience, which caters to the evolving needs of older adults. Following the medical model, The Echelon offers its members continuity of care from independent living to assisted living, and to memory care, if needed.
Starting Pay: $17 per hour
Hours: Day shift, weekends as needed
Responsibilities:
- Painting rooms, drywall restoration, window washing, etc.
- Help maintain the maintenance of the interior and exterior of the facility. Perform repairs as directed
- Preform minor maintenance on appliances (refrigerators, freezers, dryers, washers)
- Replace furnace and air conditioning filters regularly
- Document maintenance for the facility
- Assure prompt snow and ice removal
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience preferred, but not required
