At On Point Hospitality, we own and operate the restaurant Yellowbelly and the cocktail bar Lazy Tiger in the Central West End, as well as Extra Wavy near Lafayette Square. We are locally owned.
What is it like to work at Yellowbelly?
Yellowbelly is a very busy, fast-paced restaurant. Our staff enjoys working at Yellowbelly because everyone is respected and treated equally. We are a locally owned, independent restaurant. We allow and encourage our staff to be themselves, and embrace people from all backgrounds.
What are the perks and benefits of working at Yellowbelly? We are busy, which allows our staff to make very good money. We offer health insurance to all full time employees, as well as dental, life, and vision insurances. We offer paid time off for all employees once you have worked for us for one year.
What does career growth look like at Yellowbelly? We offer stable, long-term employment. We work with each individual person to learn their goals, and help them grow into whatever role or position is most beneficial to them. Many people on our staff have started at one position, but work their way into bigger and better positions. We prefer to promote from within our company. Our new restaurant, Extra Wavy, opened late 2025. We have plans to continue to build our team and our presence in the local restaurant and hospitality scene.
