The Boiling Crab Careers and Jobs
The Boiling Crab is a casual, family-friendly restaurant specializing in Louisiana-style Cajun seafood. We currently have locations in Northern & Southern California, Las Vegas, Dallas, Miami, DC and Boston, and we're rapidly growing both domestically and internationally.
It all began in a little Southeastern Texas town called Seadrift. With a population of just 2000, Seadrift was home to Yo'Daddy and his family of crabbers and fishermen. They labored in their boats year-round, catching oysters, crab, and shrimp for the seafood industry. As toiling as the work was, every weekend the men would come home with their catch of the week to ...Show full descriptionenjoy – they boiled crawfish and crabs, shucked raw oysters, grilled fresh fish – always with a beer in hand.
In 1995, Yo’Daddy met the catch of his life: Yo’Mama. With their flair for having a good time, warm hospitality, and passion for excellent seafood, Yo'Daddy and Yo'Mama opened the first Boiling Crab in 2004. Now, with 30+ bustling Boiling Crab locations, everyone can experience the full flavor of a backyard crab fest.Show less What is it like to work at The Boiling Crab?

Working at The Boiling Crab is like being front row at Coachella while still having time to dunk fries in Cajun butter — chaotic energy, unforgettable moments, and flavors that hit harder than a bass drop at Head in the Clouds.
We’re equal parts grit and glitter: fast-paced like a festival crowd surge, tight-knit like backstage VIPs, and always serving up good vibes with every order of garlic noodles. Whether it’s plating up crawfish at a pop-up collab with King’s Hawaiian or keeping the line moving during weekend rush, you never get bored — and you always feel part of something bigger than the sum of its spices.
At TBC, we celebrate personality, hustle, and humor. We’re not just coworkers — we’re a crew. There’s laughter at the expo as much as there is in the kitchen during peak weekends, and you learn something new every shift, just like discovering your new favorite artist between sets.
What are the perks and benefits of working at The Boiling Crab?

Perks at The Boiling Crab are a whole vibe — think less “corporate brochure” and more VIP festival experience:
🎟️ Flexible schedules that let you live your life outside the kitchen
🍤 Team meals that are more abundant than King’s Hawaiian rolls at a collab tasting
💪 Skill growth that hits harder than the Head in the Clouds lineup — from mastering seafood boils to sharpening leadership on the fly
💰 Competitive pay with tips hotter than our signature Cajun spice
🎉 Employee events that sometimes feel like mini-festivals of their own — laughter, food, and memories on repeat
👕 Swag that’s cooler than festival merch (t-shirts, hoodies, and brag rights included)
🌟 A culture that values personality — quirky, creative, or crab-obsessed? You’re home.
We don’t just check boxes — we boil ’em with style.
What does career growth look like at The Boiling Crab?

Career growth at TBC isn’t a slow lane — it’s like headlining your own set at a major festival.
Here’s the tour map:
🎶 Starter Set — Crew Member: You learn the rhythm of the house; you’re in sync with service and flavor, just like warming up a crowd before the headliner.
💥 Main Stage — Shift Lead / Trainer: You take the reins when it gets loud. You manage the flow, lead the chorus, and make the night unforgettable.
🎤 Headliner — General Manager: You’re orchestrating the whole show — coaching the crew, optimizing performance, and shaping the experience the way a festival director curates a lineup.
🎟️ Beyond the Booth: For those who crave even more growth, we spotlight leadership paths into multi-unit operations, training development, and even brand partnerships — maybe one day you’ll help plan our next King’s Hawaiian collab or design the staff playlist for Head in the Clouds season.
At TBC, growth is never an encore — it’s the next song.
