Sheild Catering is looking for a driven Catering Sales Representative to help grow our weddings, corporate events, and private catering business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with clients, building relationships, and turning event inquiries into successful bookings.

Role Overview
The Catering Sales Representative manages the full sales cycle from responding to inquiries and preparing proposals to closing bookings and coordinating event details with operations. This role focuses on growing new business while maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
• Respond to inbound catering inquiries and convert leads into booked events
• Meet with clients to discuss event needs, menus, and budgets
• Prepare catering proposals and pricing while maintaining target profit margins
• Maintain organized lead records and update CRM or sales tracking systems
• Follow up with clients throughout the planning process to ensure satisfaction
• Collaborate with the Service and Events Manager and Executive Chef to confirm event details
• Develop new client relationships through networking, outreach, and referrals
• Track sales activity and progress toward revenue goals
Qualifications
• 2 to 4 years of sales experience preferred
• Catering, hospitality, or event industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Professional communication and relationship building skills
