Job Title: Teacher Aide

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teacher Aide to assist our teaching staff in providing a safe and nurturing learning environment for our students. The Teacher Aide will work closely with the classroom teacher to support student learning and development, and will be responsible for a variety of tasks including classroom management, lesson preparation, and student supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in preparing and delivering lessons and activities
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students as needed
  • Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, and lunchtime
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
  • Help maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
  • Communicate regularly with the classroom teacher and other school staff

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children in a classroom or similar setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for working with children and helping them succeed

Physical Demands: The Teacher Aide may be required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time, and may need to lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. The Teacher Aide must also be able to communicate effectively with students and staff.
