Overview
The Fulfillment Center Supervisor oversees and works to improve the daily tasks of Fulfillment Center Associates according to specific goals. Supervises and offers leadership to subordinates in accordance with the organization’s policies and guidelines. Responsible for the safety and productivity of a shift of hourly associates. Manages and improves flow of product through the building. Plans and implements various continuous improvement projects using established LEAN and other principles. Acts quickly to solve different problems. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems as needed.
General Responsibilities:
Supervise fulfillment center associates in day to day tasks – with the outbound processes, shipping, processing and picking.
Ensures the overall Safety, Quality, and Productivity of a shift of up to 25 hourly associates.
Manage multiple priorities against tight deadlines by maneuvering the workforce to meet the workload
Ensure shipping, picking, and processing goals are met.
Supervise safety programs in warehouse that includes meetings, trainings and record keeping standards are met or exceeded.
Encourage open communication with staff and pursue process improvements and efficiencies while maintaining a positive, results-oriented work environment in the warehouse.
You must be self-directed and able to work on your own, have strong attention to detail, great communication skills, the capability to analyze reports and information to improve processes and business outcomes.

Qualifications:
Good interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with diverse personalities.
Experience selecting, developing, training, counseling and rewarding employees.
3 + years in a supervisory role within a fulfillment and/or manufacturing environment.
The ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments and direct the workforce in an ever-changing, warehouse environment.
Must have strong communication skills, problem solving and analytical abilities, and be a self-starter. Individual must be highly assertive and able to work in a fast-paced environment and must be detail oriented.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree highly preferred. Will consider high-potential candidates with high school diploma and minimum five years related experience in a leadership role within a high (40,000+) SKU volume manufacturing or e-commerce environment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
