    Video: Cinnabon Adds Text-to-Apply Posters

    Grey Reheis and Kyra Ortega share how they use Text-to-Apply to reduce Cinnabon's hiring time by 50% while increasing applicant rates and cutting down on no shows. 

     

    I’m Greg Reheis, I’m Vice President of Operations for 13th Floor Pilot. Cinnabon itself started at around 1985 by two restauranteurs up in the Seattle area. They set out to create the best cinnamon roll they could, and they did a pretty good job. When we were first approached by Workstream, we have had so many changes within the organization that I was very reluctant to even consider it. But I politely agreed to go into the call, fully intending to just dismiss it. During the conversation though, there were a couple of points that really started to make me really listen carefully.

    The first one was that an applicant could simply text in their application on their phones. This to me was a big selling point. At that point, I really started to really listen to what was being presented to us. And I saw a number of real possibilities for us.

    I placed an ad at 8 o’clock on one night, by 8 o’clock the next morning, I had 34 applicants. And in two days time, we had eight brand new hires in the store.

    My name is Kyra Ortega and I’m the HR Manager for 13th Floor Pilot. Workstream efficiently served their role of being an automated hiring and on-boarding platform. We definitely benefitted greatly from this communication process. Workstream offers internal quizzes based on a personalized metrics of our choice and this helps to automatically filter through the file of applicants.

    With that, only the best qualified applicants will be sent to us.
