Workstream Integrates with PDQ

We’re excited to announce our newest integration with PDQ! This integration is a major step forward in simplifying how our operators hire and onboard their teams.

With the new Workstream <> PDQ integration, employee records are automatically sent from Workstream to PDQ — no more retyping new hire details into the POS. It’s fast, seamless, and purpose-built for the needs of restaurant operators.

How it works

  • New hire info syncs automatically from Workstream to PDQ within five minutes of onboarding completion
  • Employee data like pay rate, start date, payroll ID, and location is accurately synced
  • Managers save hours every week by eliminating double-entry
  • New hires are ready to clock in faster and start contributing to the team

Designed with Jimmy John's in mind

This integration was developed based on what we’ve learned directly from Jimmy John’s operators:

  • PDQ is the standard POS across all franchisees
  • Many operators use Workstream to handle applicant tracking, onboarding, and payroll
  • Double entry into PDQ was a major pain point for managers, especially during high-volume hiring seasons

These challenges are now a thing of the past. Operators using both Workstream and PDQ can streamline their processes and give their teams more time to focus on the business instead of the back office.

"This is exactly the kind of integration our operators have been asking for," said Desmond Lim, CEO of Workstream. "Jimmy John's franchisees are some of the most operationally focused teams out there, and we're proud to help them save time and reduce errors by connecting their core tools."

Less admin time, more accuracy

Manual entry doesn’t just take time, it also introduces room for error. By syncing employee data automatically, the integration helps ensure accuracy across systems and reduces payroll mistakes tied to incorrect IDs or rates.

We’re proud to partner with Crunchtime to support the evolving needs of restaurant operators.
