inspection of vehicle and loaded product before departing to deliver goods
Cleaning and maintaining the trucks, including refueling for the next day
Following all posted traffic signs to ensure the safety of employees in the vehicle and the vehicle itself
Report any accidents, traffic or individual, to warehouse manager in a timely manner
Monitoring the need for major repairs, including engine tune-up, oil change, filter change, and tire replacements
Complete assigned tasks within the given time parameters while maintaining all safety standards that are in place.
Performing other duties as assigned
Reports directly to warehouse supervisor
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills,*and Abilities)*
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)preferred; and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Have a current and valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License (CDL is NOT required)
Drug and Alcohol free
Ability to safely drive vehicles (Clean MVR)
Ability to safely operate power lift gate
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors, and the general public while presenting a professional and positive attitude.
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work independently or as a team
Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions
Ability to make independent judgments which have moderate impacts on the organization
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and operate digital technology

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to temperature changes and workplace hazards.
