Job Title: Behavior Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans and provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA
  • Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
  • Assist with parent training and education
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to develop and modify treatment plans
  • Attend regular team meetings and training sessions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field
  • Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and implement new techniques and strategies
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes and other locations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a Behavior Technician or similar role
  • Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) certification
  • Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy
  • Experience with data collection and analysis

Physical Demands: The Behavior Technician may be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, sit or stand for extended periods of time, and engage in physical activities with clients.
